This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for hosting your Brij experiences under a subdomain of your existing website.

Instructions:

Step 1: Choose a Subdomain

• Brij experiences must be hosted on a subdomain of your website’s domain. For example, if your website is mywesbite.com, your Brij experience URL’s can be hosted under “qr.mywebsite.com” or “registration.mywebsite.com”, etc.
• Once you have chosen the subdomain, send this subdomain to Brij.
• Brij will send you the CNAME records needed to complete the next step (shown as tbd below)

Step 2: Add a New CNAME Record

1. Log in to your DNS Provider Account
   • Access your DNS provider's website and log in to your account
2. Navigate to the DNS Management Section
   • Find the section where you can manage your DNS records.
3. Create a New CNAME Record
   • Add a new CNAME record with the following details:
     • Type: CNAME
     • Name: tbd
     • Value: tbd
4. Notify Brij to Start the Verification Process
   • After adding the CNAME record please inform Brij Support ([email protected]) so we can complete the SSL verification process. This process usually takes 1-2 business days.
   • Once the Brij Team completes this step we will reach out to you to request that you complete the next step.

Step 3: Update the CNAME Record

1. Access your DNS Provider Account and modify the Existing CNAME Record
   • Replace the existing CNAME record with the following details:
     • Name: tbd
     • Value: tbd
2. Save Changes
   • Make sure to save the updated DNS settings.

<aside> 🎉 Congratulations! Your custom domain is now configured for SSL verification. It may take up to 24 hours for changes to take effect. Once live, all Brij experiences will be accessible under the specified subdomain on your existing website.
