Connecting your Klaviyo Account

Obtain your Klaviyo API Key

• To begin, go to the Klaviyo dashboard. Click on the account 'logo' at the bottom of the screen, then navigate to 'Settings'.
• Locate the 'API keys' tab under the 'Account' option, and either copy an existing API key or create a new one by selecting 'Create Private API key'. Enable full access and copy the generated API key to your clipboard.
  • Be sure to include full access for the following: Events, Subscriptions, Segments, Profiles, Metrics and Lists
• It is recommended to set the Default opt-in settings to ‘Single opt-in’ to ensure that contacts from Brij are subscribed to email marketing.

<aside> 💡 If the API is set to ‘Double opt-in’, customers who sign up through Brij will need to confirm opt-in before you will be able to send them marketing emails.

Access Brij Dashboard

• Now, switch to the Brij dashboard. Click on the 'Settings' tab and go to the 'Integrations' tab**.**
• Check the box for 'Automatically Create User Profiles in CRM'. In the 'CRM Provider' box, select 'Klaviyo', and paste the previously copied Klaviyo API key in the 'Private API Key' box.
• Click on the 'Save' button to implement the Klaviyo API integration.
• 🎉 Congratulations! your Brij platform is now configured to automatically send user profile details to Klaviyo whenever a new user registers or signs up.
